(DREAMS)
In one way or another human-beings always dream, we dream while sleeping, we do so when we are awake which we call “day dreaming”, it is scientifically proven that other creatures also do.
In my opinion a person with no dreams is the one who has no real hopes for the future! The dream is the path that leads us to hope, many times and with a bit of hard work we change that hope into reality. I personally always dream but mostly when I am awake, here under is the result of one of my day dreams !!!
“ I GREW WINGS !! “
Once on a usual hot,
and humid day….
In a modern city,
of the Arabian Peninsula,
called Dubai
Where the sun quietly shines,
throughout the year
I was home alone, sitting there
relaxing on my luxury chair
A sparkling idea struck my brain
after great energy,
not knowing how did I gain!!!
I stood up,
spread my hands in the air !!!
flapped them quickly,
then took off !!!
with a lot of care
A cool fresh breeze,
greeted my body and face
like an angel I felt,
full of joy and grace
I was thrilled, happy
and almost went to cry
How come !? Just like a bird,
I am flying in the sky
There beneath me I saw,
beautiful, stunning scenery
water, land, sand dunes,
and greenery
Oh Lord I praised,
What a marvelous perfect picture,
You have created
to which we humans good and bad,
are related
but unfortunately, we always deny
and do not appreciate it
Being human, a greedy nature,
drove me to discover more and more
to reach and capture snaps,
of the promised golden shore
I geared up!!
and flew faster and faster
but, the sun gradually faded,
then went darker and darker
within moments I heard there under
terrible noises,
roaring like a thunder
vehicles hooting,
people screaming in crowds
“ Unbelievable!!! Unbelievable !!!
a man flying!!!
and almost touching the clouds !!??”
Suddenly I felt cold,
freezing waves hitting deep into my bones
everything changed,
my hands went out of their musical tones
Oh God! I cried for help,
terribly broken and shocked
save me I am falling!!!
and onto the ground I’ll be knocked
I started searching,
for the warmth of the sun
hoping again to catch,
the lasting happiness,
and the flying fun
The hope I found in a gap among the clouds,
bigger and bigger it grew
the sun rays started pouring like a shower,
gently coming through
flying faster heading up to them,
I reached but, guess what ???
my eyes were hit by a bright sun beam
God!! I went blind, I said,
then woke up to find it was only a dream
